That's right! The visual attributes available in Generation One can combine to create 6,981,811,200,000 unique PolyPuppies™. Each and every PolyPuppy™ is guaranteed to be completely singular. Attribute rarities vary from common (greater than 69% frequency) down to a fraction of a percentage for ultra rare traits. When you Mint a Generation One PolyPuppy™, the attributes are chosen completely at random.
Why bother with the Polygon sidechain?q & a
Great Question. We have all been thoroughly inspired by Ethereum breedable NFT projects over the past few years (and we've enjoyed the heck out of them). Alas, gas spikes on the Ethereum chain can make breeding unprofitable, and downright impossible - Polygon sidechain to the rescue! Using MATIC, token breeding will always be fun and inexpensive. Don't fear, we will handle the exchange behind the scenes. You will just pay a nominal fee in ETH, focus on genetics, and have fun :)
I've heard that PolyPuppies™ might become a breeding game?q & a
Absolutely. Once breeding is implemented, you will have the ability to "breed" two PolyPuppies™ together to create a brand new PolyPuppy™ with a newer Generational identifier. You can create favorable bloodlines for offspring attributes by choosing breeding partners wisely. Genetic traits from Generation One will be passed down to their offspring, some will mutate, some will combine, others will become recessive. There are unlimited possibilities, but remember, there will only ever be ten thousand PolyPuppies™ in Generation One.
Are PolyPuppies™ Compatible with OpenSea?q & a
They sure are! PolyPuppies™ will mint directly to any existing ETH or MATIC wallet address, and you will see your shiney new NFT on any platform within seconds, depending on network congestion. If you're using a platform such as OpenSea, be sure to "unhide" your new NFT within your profile after minting.
Generation One Opens! milestone
Minting will open up on January 28th at 23:00 GMT. Each wallet will be allowed to mint a maximum of ten PolyPuppies™ with an approximate cost of $80 USD per mint. You can expect to pay under $10 USD in gas due to the nature of the minting process. Transactions will be processed on Ethereum Mainnet, and tokens will be minted to your ETH address via Ethereum's sister chain, Polygon.
